How Ab Tech creates and maintains its articles
Our purpose
The Ab Tech blog gives readers in Ethiopia and elsewhere practical, accurate technology information: tutorials, explainers and case studies they can use to build or maintain real projects.
Who writes the articles
Articles are written under the byline of Abraham Alemye, Software developer and founder of Ab Tech. Each article shows its author, publication date and, where it has been revised, the date of the latest review.
Originality
Every article is written specifically for Ab Tech. We do not republish other people's articles, spin existing content or publish text generated without human review. When we discuss a third-party product or service we explain its role in our own words rather than reproducing its documentation, and we link to the official source for details that change.
Experience-based writing
Project and case-study articles describe approaches we used on our own projects. Recommendations come with their limits and alternatives where those matter, and we say when something is a general guideline rather than a rule.
Accuracy and testing
Technical steps and code examples should be tested before publication. Where an article depends on a third-party interface or price that can change, we say so and tell readers to confirm with the provider.
Updates and corrections
Technology changes quickly. We review older articles and update them when important details become outdated; the "Updated" date on an article shows when that happened. If you find an error, email contact@abtech.com.et with the page address and what should change. Confirmed errors are corrected promptly, and significant corrections are noted in the article.
Advertising and independence
Ab Tech displays advertising, including Google AdSense, to help fund the site. Advertisers do not choose our topics, review our articles or influence our conclusions. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, we will label them clearly.
Finance and trading content
Where we discuss trading or investing, the content is educational and is not personalised financial advice.
